We made it to Austria! Lena was awesome during the journey despite going without any decent sleep or food for way too long at a time. We took a red eye out of San Francisco and were lucky that out seat mate opted to move to one of the very few free seats so that Lena could have her own seat. That made sleep slightly more possible although the turbulence often woke her up. (amateur hour Cam says). She would just smile and wave and try to go back to sleep!
We arrived with half of our luggage but luckily the rest was delivered the next afternoon-another disaster averted.
