Jackson's first camping trip!

Last weekend we went camping in Yosemite with Arthur and Nicole. Yes Jackson was only 5 weeks old...feel free to call CPS!  Yosemite is beautiful and the trip was mostly a lot of fun...although definitely a little stressful.  Trying to keep Lena safe and her dirty paws off of little Jack was a challenge but we are all still safe and sound a week later!

 Swimming in the river!
 Family photo shoot.
Eating giant marshmallows in the tent!  Lena LOVED the tent.  We were "sooooo cozy!!!" in there!  Although next time we need a MUCH bigger tent.  And another air mattress...the 4 of us basically ended up sharing one queen bed.  If you haven't had the pleasure of sharing a bed with a two year old, they basically sleep perpendicular to how you are sleeping and kick you in the head and chest all night long.  So add trying to keep Jack from getting kicked (yes she can somehow get those kicks to reach all parts of the tent) and there was not a lot of sleep for me!
 We do not pack light!
Popcorn...chocolate...marshmallows...graham crackers...in a cozy tent...what's not to like about camping?
Jack loved looking up at those tall trees!
Thanks Poppy for the adorable camping chair! And thank you Arthur for making popcorn and playing endless games of football.
 Happy pappy.
 Half Dome.
 Deer everywhere!
Hanging out in the river relaxing during nap time.
And yes we had a meltdown or two...wouldn't expect anything less!
