A Southern Experience

Looking for a morning activity, Lena and I had a play date this week at Bass Pro Shops in nearby Prattville. Might seem weird to take two almost two year olds to an outdoor sporting store and let them run around...lena did try to run behind the gun counter in an especially stealth escape from the bathroom. This place was truly an experience...



This bear was so big I couldn't even fit both of their heads in the picture...





I couldn't get anymore good pictures without Lena escaping and climbing up onto some dangerous object...or finding something extremely dangerous to play with. But the kids loved the boats and seeing the fish and animals. We did avoid the kiddie hunting arcade where kids can practice shooting at real stuffed wild animals...Scary! But they had these little Daniel Boon hats I really wanted lens to try on. No such luck.

There was even a restaurant where we had lunch. The kids actually sat and enjoyed lunch because they could watch the fish in the giant aquarium swim by. And these were pretty ones-- not the ones pictured above.
